We've started making our "to do" lists so we can get our act together for departure on Friday.
One of the things I'm getting started on today is contacting places we'll be staying and having dinner to confirm. I'm enjoying it because I get to take a more in depth look at each place we're staying. I've confirmed three today:
Abbey Farmhouse in St. Bees
We're spending the night here on July 21st when we arrive in St. Bees. We start the walk the next day.
The next day, we'll head to Ennerdale.
The Shepherds Arms Hotel
This is where we'll be staying after the first day of walking.
After that, we're off to Stonethwaite/Borrowdale.
The Langstrath Country Inn
All looking lovely, so far! I'm just going to share a few each day.
It will be lovely! Flowering baskets off lamp posts and in the window boxes :-)

DeleteI love all the beautiful perennials of England. I have a book (in storage) about English gardens. I've looked at it longingly at times thinking how nice it would be not to have plants scorched in the summer. :)
